So as I was planning I went ahead and finished the first draft version of Midnight Star: The Frozen Empire. I'm doing some touch ups and corrections in each chapter now and posting them as I finish. I've already posted two of the remaining chapters and will be posting another one later today. With the first drafts done I will be able to continue posting chapters at regular intervals so... Yay!
With The Frozen Empire coming to a close now, my focus is shifting back toward After Midnight. In case anyone was wondering, After Midnight is only about half done. After all, Reshkirana has only found one of the element bearers so far. The next chapter of After Midnight is about half done at the moment and with little left to do on The Frozen Empire I should be able to get that one going again. If I don't distract myself...
Unfortunately that's not my nature and even after I finish After Midnight; I already have at least four other stories I want to do. The first is of course the third and final story in the Midnight Star series. But at the same time I have another story in the works that is completely separate from the Midnight Star Universe that I may just squeeze in... We'll see, in any case I will be finishing After Midnight first; what I do after I have yet to decide, but I'm leaning towards doing this other story since my summary for Midnight Star and the Father of Light is far from complete.
And of course, whenever I'm tired of writing, I always have my art. Here's a recent piece, the first of the Cutie Mark Crusader fliers; I'm going to do all three and yes, there is a reason for it... Anyway, here's Sweetie Belle:
