    So I'm watching the premiere

No, I haven't watched season 8. Yes, I am watching because Chrysalis, Tirek, and Sombra are back. Also, why was an eight year old in Tartarus, who made that decision?

I haven't been active on the site for over a year. I have occasionally checked in to see how everyone was doing, but I've barely gotten any writing done here. I know I left on a hiatus last year and said I might come back to the site one day, but that's looking less likely with every passing day.

So, I'm making it official; I'm leaving.

My Top Ten Most Attractive Animated Females · 4:46am May 15th, 2014

Alright, so you guys saw my blog post regarding my top ten list for males and I decided to make one for all the female characters I find attractive. However, since I myself am female and most of these characters are on this list because of the inspiration and impact that gave me, this will be more in-depth than my male list, which was mostly based on looks alone, until we got the the top five.

RULES(not official, just personal challenges):
1. One character per show~
2. MUST be animated-- says so in the name~
3. These are my OWN PERSONAL OPINIONS, so some of you may be offended or may disagree with my tastes~

So, let's get started!

#10: Tak from Invader Zim

Alright, so Tak was one of the many female characters that left an impact on me as a kid for many reasons.

First off, she shows up in a freaking spaceship in her debut episode, so it's kinda hard to get over that. But, the reason I like her so much, other than her being attractive compared to the other characters in the show, is because she is the first Invader that actually shows true initiative. Zim is always fiddle-farting around, claiming to be intelligent and all-knowing, when in reality, he's anything but. Tak shows up after years of planning so she could gain her rightful spot as an Invader during Operation Impending Doom II, fully intent on destroying what little credibility Zim has with anyone in the universe.

Feel the burn~

But, the only reason she failed in her cause was because of Gaz, another female character who I like but not enough to put on this list. Zim and Dib, in one of the few times they put their differences aside to help a cause together, barely get anything done. Well, Dib managed to press the power button that put a stop to Tak's planet sucking machine, but that was AFTER he ran around screaming for hours on end, panicking while his younger sister was doing all the work.

And lastly, the reason I find this character so attractive is because of her style and the way she carries herself. I am huge fan of the color purple, which she rocks rather well, and there's just this way she can exude confidence and authority within her that makes you want to listen to whatever she has to say. I didn't really connect with the dark toned characters, design-wise and character-wise, until later on in my life and it was only a couple years back when Invader Zim rebooted on Nicktoons I really looked at Tak and went, "Huh, ya know, she was pretty stinkin' awesome."

#9: Meg from Hercules

So, I really love sarcastic, empowering female characters, you guys. Meg is no exception to that fact, I assure you. Despite being a slave to Hades, the God of the Underworld, she is still sassy as Tartarus whenever he tells her what to do. And even when good ol' Herc is trying to save her butt, she still keeps it going!

Snap your fingers in a Z formation, head rotation, body full motion, dude, ya just got dissed!

But, the main reason I like her is because there's a reason behind her snarky attitude. She fell in love, she lost the man she loved and gave up her life to Hades so he could be hers again. But, the moment another girl walks by, he runs off and leaves her to Hades completely. So, she's built up a wall for herself so she can't get hurt again, which is something I can relate to personally.

I understand this on so many levels...

And, when she finally admits to herself that she loves Hercules, Hades comes in and tells her otherwise, reminding her that she is his to order around.

Misandry for the win~

But, the most amazing moment for her when she sees Hercules in danger, and despite his anger at her for betraying him, she rushes to his rescue and dies to keep him alive. Her character is gorgeous, both inside and out, and she deserves the happy ending she got(even if it isn't mythologically correct).

#8: Sango from Inuyasha

Ah, Inuyasha, how awesome you made my childhood! All those late nights where I'd stay waiting for the new episode and I'd watch in total awe of how awesome the animation and characters were!

Alright, getting over my nostalgia, I just wanna go ahead and say it; I love Sango so freaking much. Not only is she smokin' in the looks department, but her character is strong and gorgeous in every possible aspect. Don't get me wrong, I like Kagome, but Sango is my favorite female character, besides Rin, but I didn't want to put her in this specific category. She's more cute than attractive, in my opinion.

So, Sango is your typical feudal era demon slayer, who's more often than not stuck training her younger brother, Kohaku, who doesn't display all the skills demon slayers do. But, one day, she and her village receive a message from a lord called Naraku, who wishes for a demon to be exterminated by her village. Upon arrival, they found out it is but a minor demon and it is later revealed to be a trap for her and her fellow demon slayers. Kohaku is possessed by Naraku, who uses him to slaughter his family and the demon slayers. Sango witnesses this and breaks through his possession, but he is then shot and killed in front of her. Almost immediately afterwards, she is shot and left for dead. However, she gets herself out from her shallow grave and later finds out Naraku was the one who possessed her brother. It also revealed that Kohaku has been revived and is now Naraku's personal puppet, which only fuels her need for revenge.

Getting that back story out of the way, Sango is shown to be the most powerful female in this show. Sure, Kagome's great, but she lacks the experience and inner-strength that Sango does.

Hiraikotsu, bitch!

#7: Luna from My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic

So, this was bound to be on my list, because everyone loves Luna!

So, Lulu here has always intrigued most out of the three princesses, what with her internal struggle regarding her transformation as Nightmare Moon. She holds so much angst and regret, which makes her character all the more glorious, seeing as how I live off of that stuff for writing fuel.

But, putting her back story aside, my love for her really blossomed when I saw her return to the series in Season 2's "Luna Eclipsed", where she struggles to adjust to Equestria after her 1000 year imprisonment, especially on a night commemorating her awful transformation into Nightmare Moon. I fell in love with her the moment I heard her manner of speaking and how she would talk to Twilight using the "Royal Canterlot Speaking Voice", which was just too hilarious for me to watch.

So, all in all, Luna is extremely fun and quirky, making her an instant favorite in the attraction department.

BOW TO YOUR MOON PRINCESS!

#6: Toph from Avatar: The Last Airbender

And we're back on the snarky attitude train! Lord, I love Toph! She's so rough and tough, and doesn't give rat's ass what anyone thinks of her! I don't have any other reason to put her on this list!

And this little gem here made me love her more~

#5: Akiza Izinki from Yu-Gi-Oh! 5D's

Ah, Akiza, the Black Rose Witch! Much like Elsa from Frozen, she was cursed with powers as a child and her parents locked her away to keep them in control, but it instead made them worse and harder to manage.

Akiza starts off a sweet girl who turns dark because of her parent's decision to send her away and she later turns into a bright young woman who learns to control her psychic powers and evens falls in love with someone(*COUGH*YUSEI*COUGH*). Akiza is gorgeous and stunning in every way, including her personality.

Aaaaaaaaaaand, let's not forget how good she looks in her motorcycle suit!

Meooooooooooow!

#3: Esmeralda from Hunchback of Notre Dame

Alright, so Esmeralda is a new favorite of mine in the Disney department. Even though she's a gypsy and she's done some rather questionable things in her life, I still deem her a great representation of what a person should be.

Despite being shocked by Quasimodo's appearance once she sees what he really looks like, whenever everyone is throwing vegetables at him and he has been humiliated, Esmeralda steps in and puts a stop to it. Also, ya gotta love the hold she has on the gypsy community in the "Court of Miracles".

And because you guys stuck with me this long, here's some gifs of Esmeralda dancing.

Esmeralda, the creator of the pole dance, everybody!

#2: Mai Valentine from Yu-Gi-Oh!

The most ridiculous amount of cleavage to come out of my childhood. I mean, seriously.

Getting over the two obvious reasons why Mai is considered attractive within the fandom, I have to say, I absolutely love her. She shows up a sassy, bitchy chick intent on winning no matter the cost and she leaves an enlightened, experienced beauty. Her time in the Shadow Realm and her experience as a bad guy in Season 4 really shows the trauma and trials she goes through as a character and it makes her all the more appealing.

Oh, laugh it up, Mai, but you're still not #1.

And now for the grand finale...

My #1 most attractive animated female is...

#1: Elsa from Frozen

Y'all really should have seen this coming. I mean, come on, it's Frozen.

Alright, so I will start off by saying I know that Elsa isn't the first Disney character to not get married and have the whole "ride off into the sunset" thing. I know that Frozen isn't the first movie that's about two sisters who love each other(Lilo and Stitch). I know Frozen may be overrated to some of you, but I love the movie for so many reasons, I don't even know where to start.

Well, here goes nothing.

Elsa speaks to me on a spiritual level. Years ago, when I was younger and not so aware of how hard the outside world was, I was so open with my personality and extremely happy with myself. But, as time went on, the more I showed, the more it pushed people away. I would open myself up and all people would do was walk away, not sure how to deal with me. Eventually, once I got in my thick skull that people were scared of me and my erratic behavior, I shut myself down and closed myself off from other people.

And, after years of isolation, I developed social anxiety and now I constantly fear being judged and I have serious gelatophobia(fear of being laughed at). I get freaked out when I can't see someone's face when I talk to them, I take things too seriously, I get involved in situations that don't involve me and I more often than not hurt others with my words and actions.

And every time I hurt someone, I feel nothing short of a monster. But I never tell anyone how I feel, because whenever I do, I feel like my problems don't matter. After time and time again of telling my problems, it feels like no one is listening... Despite how intently I know they are...

One day, when I was in one of my negative moods, I was listening to Pandora radio when "Let It Go" came on. I had heard about Frozen by then and decided to look up the clip with the song. And I swear to you, I almost broke down into tears the first time I watched it.

When it started off, I was somewhat intrigued already and as she continued on and on about how she was supposed to keep her feelings in check, I felt myself remembering all those times I convinced myself the same thing. And I was heartbroken when she started singing the chorus for the first time, finally letting out all of her emotions the way I never could.

This was the most powerful thing in the entire movie for me.

And the way she literally lets her hair down is what got me the most during her solo performance. God, I wish I could just let go everything that's happened to me and live on with my life the way Elsa did.

But, the real clencher for me was when she was in the ice palace with Anna, who was trying to convince her to come back to Arendale. While I do agree with Anna in her cause, I didn't agree with her approach. She actually said to Elsa, "I understand." And let me tell you why that bothers me so much. For years, whenever I brought up my problems, I never really got to go into full depth because they would always interrupt and say, "I understand," when in reality, they couldn't even begin to.

Elsa holds something no other princess or queen in the previous Disney movies did; she held a struggle that resembled my own, one she had to deal with for most of her life and couldn't share with anyone for fear of ridicule and how it would affect them.

And that's what makes her so beautiful to me.

Sorry if the descriptions are breif but im typing this on a Tablet.

To be honest, when people say, "I understand", I think what they mean to say is, "I sympathize with you."

But, I have to admit, there's a lot of people with the same problem as yours. So, perhaps there are people that actually DO understand. In other words, don't worry, you're never alone.

In today's society, everyone wants to fit in somewhere. Either certain cliques, clubs, or anything else that involves social groups. Hence why people change themselves and develop some mental problems. In all honesty, I wish you did keep your original attitude when you were a kid. That was your true you, and if it scared others off, then that was because you were intimidating. But, it's not a bad thing, it was your own shield to scare away the fakes, in my opinion. People are use to deal with the norm, so when someone is their actual self, it's suppose to be some sort of social sin. I should know, you have no idea how many people I intimated. :pinkiecrazy:

When you do something wrong, I can relate to that. I feel like the biggest trash in the world when I do something wrong. As for you problems, I can relate to that too, I feel I can handle anything on my own because there are bigger problems in the world, therefore my problems are meaningless. So, there, I can say I understand you (sorry if that irritates you, but I actually do. I had done some wrong in my life, and I feel sick when thinking about it, even if it's just something little. I'm a bit of a perfectionist).

But, here's the thing, when you do something wrong and feel like the dirtiest scum, just try to focus on fixing the problem in the most reasonable level, ignore your ugly feelings as best as you could and think in a logical standpoint. It's a hard feat. but still possible, and it takes some practice.

As for your other problem...Well, true, there are BIG problems in the world, and not every problem you have is the greatest importance. But, it's still nice to share them and open yourself a bit to those close to you. It will let them get to know as you, as well as build a foundation of trust. And, when that is done, and the problem is fixed or less painful, you grow from that experience. You even become a better person in some cases, and when people are generally better, the world is a bit softer. And, when the world is softer, the big world problems just might fade away a little. But, it all starts with one...So, I guess you can say that any problem could have an effect on this planet as a whole, because negativity spreads without you knowing it. Therefore, your problems are not as insignificant as you think.

As for your other problems, I cannot relate to that, since my own problems are on different levels. But, all in all, no one is perfect. Every single person on Earth are imperfect, no doubt about it. I'm not saying that you shouldn't fix your problems, I'm just saying don't beat yourself over it too much. Things take time, and with practice, you will overcome it, you just have to be calm.

You should let your feelings and your true self roam free. Don't care what others think of you, as long as it doesn't physically hurt someone, then you're good. Now, there are such things like being tactful, politeness, and so forth that you need to be aware of and be sure to have. But, fixing flaws doesn't mean you're changing your person. You are just bettering yourself. Also, don't worry, I'm not saying do this immediately or ordering you to, it will take times until you feel comfortable again and won't care how people view you. Being your true self is actually a challenge in society, but it's not impossible and can be accomplished.

The thing about Elsa is that she did "Let it Go", but she was still shutting herself out after the song number. She had to embrace love later and accept others' help in order for herself to be actually free. And, that is everything we should all learn and someday accomplish. There are people that care for you and love you, they will not hesitate to help you.

I apologize that I bugged you...And, gave you advice that you probably already knew. But, when I read someone opening up their feelings, I can't help but give a reply or try to help a little. You can say my flaw is shoving down advice someone's throat without them even asking for it. So, yeah...Sorry, but I thought it would be best to open my heart a little.

Have a good night! (And congrats if you actually read this message)

PS: Love your choices!
