    Shifting covers for shifting sands

Many of you may be wondering what is taking so long for the next update. Sadly, life causes all kinds of interruptions. I was recently hired to work at a location some sixty miles from where I currently reside, and thus travel and work have taken a huge bite out of the time I have available to do fun things like write and game.

    Starlight's Shifting Sands status update

I know this story is one that a good number of people have been enjoying so far, and I want to assuage any panic immediately due to the long break since the most recent chapter: this story will be continuing soon.

This is the fifth time my computer has failed to save this chapter...

I'm getting quite sick of this happening. Sorry about the absolutely massive delay.

    New delays

I do once again apologize for the lack of timely updates. Part of this has to do with the recent heat wave weather sapping all of my energy in my free time.

    Future plans...

So, in addition to my plans for each independent sapient race to have a zerg hive corruption event (ponies count as one race regardless of subtype) I have ambitious plans to introduce transformers elements as another factor of setting mythos, and I'm going to start BIG with 'Five Ancient Colossi:'

    The Iron Bulette. (Rippersnapper)
    The Bone Roc. (Cutthroat)
    The Gold Orthos. (Sinnertwin)

Some of you may be wondering why I'm making a blog post on the same day as I released a chapter and a miniature interlude in the main story as well as a bite-sized one-shot of a possible future. If any of you reading this are former City of Heroes players, you likely already know the reason.

Today would have marked the 10th anniversary celebration of CoH being released if the game were still going. Today would have been a great day to be a hero, even just in a virtual world. Instead it is not exactly the best day in the world to be thinking about things that could have been.

To any old CoH players that might happen to have this story favorited yet somehow NOT already be aware, there is hope for our community. There is another game coming, one that will hopefully be a smack in the face to those fools at NCsoft that ordered the game to be shut down when the developers had finally really hit their stride and were making great progress with new power sets and stories, bringing the players things that had been wanted for years.

From the ashes of our community, like the phoenix of legend, a new game rises. I have said it before, and I will say it again:

WE ARE TITANS!
