Crystals for Life Starts on Tuesday. · 7:24pm Apr 26th, 2014
I'll be leaving on Monday and returning on the 7th in my great Canadian adventure to go play video games for charity. I'll be playing Chrono Cross and Ys Origin. You can find more information about the charity, the event, and the schedule at www.crystalsforlife.ca. Which is also listed on the banner below.
I shall be playing the following games:
Chrono Cross: May 2nd at roughly 8:50 PM Eastern time. (9 hour esimate)
You can donate to name characters that will be used in the party: Serge/Lynx, Kid, Leena, Poshul, Pierre, Glenn, Sprigg, Harle, Karsh, Riddel, Fargo, Marcy, Starky. (13 characters to be named 6 characters in each name)
You can also donate to make me have to feed 100 dragons in the Viper Manor minigame (something most people have to use the timeshifter slowdown feature to accomplish.)
And you can donate to make me have to do the best ending with the Chrono Cross Element.
Ys Origin: May 4th at at roughly 3:40 AM Eastern time. (2:45 estimate in case Yunica wins the donation war.)
You can donate to help choose if I play Yunica or Toal (The Claw) whichever receives more donations will be played.
It shall be a bunch of fun for a good cause and afterwards I'll finally have some time to finally get back to writing pone words.

So is this like the Canadian version of Awesome/Summer Games Done Quick? If so, I am SO there! We need to name Serge B.Mash and either Kid or Leena S.Bell (depending on who is used more.)
Also, the 100 used to give me problems as a kid, but now that I'm 22, i can do it no problem without time manipulation. (Which I never had access to as a kid, lol.)
2049640 Leena gets used until you get turned into Lynx who then gets kicked out in favor of other characters until you get Marcy. Kid spends most of the run absent because leaving her to deal with her own problems (poison, coma, etc) is just faster than trying to save her.
P.S. It's still weird seeing you with an avatar that isn't that adorable chocobo xD

We should totes name her AJ, then, since she doesn't get a lot of screen time.
p.s. I suppose I can go back to being a Chocobo for awhile, if only to support the event!

So, I gotta ask you a dumb question... Where will the runs be posted? Is there someone I should be following on YouTube or Twitter to keep abreast of this info?

2107110 X3 What can I say? Had to make sure you knew who it was, after all! (So many name snipes, oh my gosh. I think I had, like... two? One to get Sweetie to beat Waifu, and then one to get Terra named Twily. Can't remember if there was another snipe or not.)
Spent far more than I meant to. Might have trouble getting classes next semester because of it, but at least it's (mostly) worth it!
