In a previous blog post, I mentioned that I was working on a story about a Sunset Shimmer redemption arc in an alternate ending/extension of Equestria Girls. My latest story is not that, though it's connected. It's partly a practice piece, since I find Sunset a bit hard to write. It was originally going to be an entry for this contest some guy was hosting, but I wasn't sure if it was any good, so I put the story away and forgot about it. I found it again yesterday, read through it, smiled a bit, and decided to go ahead publish it after a little more polishing. The contest is long over, sadly, but oh well. The story is also partly a prequel to Separate Ways and the redemption project I'm working on.
Also, this marks my twentieth "story" published on this site. One of them is actually an anthology, which would technically count as seven stories, but it's close enough. So, uh, yay for twenty, I guess. Beats the feathers outta what I got finished when I was solely writing original fiction.
