After not knowing what to do by the end of the series, I have finally planned out the entirety of 'Well, Piss.'.
And it ended up becoming very dark and sad.
You see, Drake, as a main character, is a little bit deeper that you may think. I'd like to think he has shortcomings, makes mistakes and has a somewhat regrettable past that really saps the energy out of him. I wanted to Drake as a character as much as I could in 'Well, Piss.' but in order to do that I needed to throw away the comedy and bring in adventure and sad instead.
Does it suck? Kinda, but this is honestly how I want the story to end for him. I want him to grow as a person. I want to develop his character, have him go through challenges and hardships and have the Mane 6 interact with him. Through this, he will become a deeper character, but that also means I have to take the series seriously. I know this series doesn't take itself too seriously and Drake is snarky, but this how I want the story to evolve. This is the direction I'm taking it.
Here is my plan: I'm finishing the first sixteen chapters in 'Well, Piss.' and then making a separate story to end the storyline that has more of an adventurous tone to it. That way I'll be able to make more funny, lighthearted chapters while ending the story as I wish at the same time.
Granted, I don't know where to end 'Well, Piss.' so that storylines far off in the distance. But, the true ending of the plot I have clearly written down for myself, and frankly I'm excited to read it.
We'll see how it goes.
