This post isn't just about le art, but first things first:

You guys remember how Wisp's cutie mark was kind of technically definitely stolen? Well, no more. Finally, at long last, it has happened:

    Kinda big news (rewriting)

So last night I spent a good several hours talking with a couple friends about Fireflank. At first it was about a few important things I might change about the story at large (and most particularly my concerns that I may allow Wisp to come off as "too" talented magically), but as things progressed and more input was given, I became convinced that it would indeed be in my best interests to go over

    I'm horrible

So I was working on Fireflank. I really was. But then Fallout: Eclipse sucked me in until I was done with its first chapter and I'm terrible.

Chapter 2 and other stuff · 5:33am Apr 6th, 2014

Well, the writing of chapter 2 is complete. I think. I feel odd about how quickly the second scene goes. It seems to present its exposition with little weight. But once it gets edited and all, I'm sure that'll be fixed. Its events could get shifted around chronologically, though (I'm perhaps too worried about seemingly progressing relationships and such too fast), though, in which case I'd have to write up a whole new chapter basically, but eh.

I imagine the chapter will be up within a week or two—still no idea just how the proofreading stuff is gonna go. After that, I'm not sure how frequent updates will be. Things are pretty slow at the moment, with spurts of activity when I hit on something, and I wonder how much I know about the details of the foreseeable future of the story (as in, things could use a lot more planning out). But in any case, at least mostly, if things continue as they are then work will be pretty consistent. Things going slow is infinitely better than not going at all. :duck:

And it might get a bit better once I finish rereading Fallout: Equestria. lol
