Let the shading commence... *The Butler art...* · 7:34pm Apr 3rd, 2014
I have absolutely no idea what I'm drawing here... I started off drawing Lee from The Butler... but... I guess Lee is a bad ass cowboy with a revolver...
Overall mouth could use some touching up along with the handle bar mustache, shade it a bit and it'll be done! Hazaah!
No idea why but I just laughed harder than I should've....
I'm actually working on some art myself too currently, and my guy suddenly looked like he's made out of fucking salad (inb4 Salad Fingers reference). Oh well, I guess that's what happens when you're messing around with skin-color and happen to go a bit green accidentally. Odd since I did the skin-color with gray-ish red-brown hues... the fuck?
1979367 Paint or computer software? If you're using software either it's a glitch cause I don't think grey and red/brown make green. Now if you're using actual paint or any other tools... wtf?
1979389 Brudda. I've been doing arts for 10 years, I know my shit.
It was on Painttool SAI. It was just because it looked like that, the shading and everything made the skin look all green and shit, while it was actually like a light brown mixed with some darker brown. I just needed to add some "living" colors to make it look nice. It looked like Zombie-skin with a bit more life in it, so I just added more redness and life on the skin and tadaa, we have a functioning skin-color.
Also, the green hoodie made it look a lot greener than it was. If you take a close look, you can actually see how with a bit of right coloring, you can give some color a complete opposite hue. Like what happened to me, using red and orange mainly to get a green-ish hue on the light brown skin (like, the hue messes with your sight so you see like an illusion of sorts). Don't ask me how the fuck that happened but I guess it was just magic :P
1979639 Lol, I'm not much of a color guy anyways. But I am good with shading–

1979646 I can see that, good job. I don't really have any weak parts anymore, just parts I have to practice more, one is hands, one is shading, but mostly I've come to that part where I'm just learning new styles and getting better :P
Wait, no, eyes are still pretty weak.... thooooough I can do pretty decent eyes too nowadays... hmm... well back to drawing! Then some BF4! My weekend started early so lets have fun :D
Dat Moustache!
Markiplier?
1987171 It was originally my starring character "Lee Harrison," from The Butler. Which can be seen on the side, half way through it though I found myself giving him a bizarre handle bar mustache. Right now the image looks weird but I'm almost done shading it, and adding texture to the stache.
