On August 26, 2013, I posted the opening chapters to a story that I never expected to last 217 days. Now, I am finally drawing Spread to a close.
My deepest regrets were the increasing lapses between chapters and the lack of explicit material of satisfying length. This last chapter is no different in that regard, but it was time for me to put this story to bed.
I originally expected to write the whole thing in a week. (Yes, I was a little nuts to think that.) Not only was it much longer than I anticipated, it also went in a completely different direction than intended, as my stories usually do.
So, what's next on the horizon? Well, I have a story that I started a while ago and put on hiatus about Rainbow Dash and steroids, so I might pick that up again. Or, either alongside this or besides this, I have ideas for a Pinkie x Fluttershy ship fic. Let me know what your preferences are, and I will take them into account. I also have an idea for a one-shot that takes a jab at common writing mistakes, but I'm not sure if I'll be writing that anytime soon.
I realize we're close to a day that makes it difficult to believe what people say, but Spread really is over now. Thanks for reading it for such a long time and enjoying it every step of the way. I really appreciate the support the story received, and I'm looking forward to more successful works in the future.
I'd be more than willing to lend a hand in the plot-development of this. Not the rarest ship out there, but still sorta uncommon.

Just to be clear, are you completely done with the Spread universe now? Are you going to write a sequel? Or do you plan to move on to completely different stories?
I figured you'd do a Twilight/Rarity/Fluttershy fic. I even thought up an idea on how to start it. Course you're the author not me.
I love the end. I'll love to see a sequel where we could see how the other relationships continue or are build

1971237 1972023 I heard numerous requests for a sequel focusing on Spike and Pinkie, but I'm not one to do sequels, so I don't plan on anything like that anytime soon. You never know, though.
