    Why are you here?

Logged into this page years later to find a recent comment on old work. That was a surprise. Who else is around?

    Ink On Life's Paper

[Note: ch3 of It's Not You They Fear has been edited and updated. 'Bout darn time.]

So I was gonna write some deep post about silver linings in pain and training hard for your struggles, but I realized the struggle for today was finishing those edits. Check it out if you have the time and boredom to do it. And here is an adorable picture of Luna in case you need to smile.

    Resurgence

Looking at the timestamps, it seems it's been nearly three months since I last posted on here. Life still has water on the ground and running down the sides of the streets, but the sun is shining once again.

    Forever and A Day

Well hello everyone, it sure has been a while. While I've put out a new chapter of The Long Road Home, this place hasn't seen a lot of other attention. I've been very busy trying not to leave any free time at all in my life to think.

    Steps

Once upon a time, a man much wiser than myself told me something. He said: 'We are what we do. The only difference between a writer and myself is that the writer picked up a pen or pulled up a keyboard, and wrote something.' I suppose that makes me many things. One of the easiest for me to see is running until I became a runner.

An Astonished 'Thank-You!' · 8:59pm Mar 30th, 2014

Ok, I'm pretty sure that by tagging the story here those of you who favorited 'Nox Pacis' will see this, and I'm also pretty sure this is more spam-neutral than going to each of your pages.

With that hope in mind, I give you all my heartfelt thanks for taking your time to read, upvote, favorite (and all that galore that leaves my story off in the corner down a scroll bar on the front page). I've never had a story go over five hundred views before, and it shocks me a little that it's possible to reach out and touch the lives of that many people-especially in that it's barely been 48 hours since the story was posted. For those of you who decided to follow this not-quite-so starving author, thanks again, and I'll try not to disappoint. Just so you know I tend to focus on writing for my longer projects, so if it looks like nothing new has happened for a while, check those stories.

As this blog post is running over his first hello since coming back, I'd like to let you know that Vermilion has finally gotten off his sorry plot and bought a new computer, so stuff by him should be appearing on this account again soon. But, I'm sure I can bludgeon him into writing his own two bits here.

Take care everyone, and for those of you students, push on to summer!

-Sage

No bludgeoning required Sage, but thanks. I'll remember that when we go drinking come May.

Anyway, yes I have got myself a new computer and unfortunately I pretty much have to start everything from scratch again. huge demoralizer but I'm sure I'll work through it. So on that note, I'm going back to the essentials. Life Has a Volume Knob will receive chapter 5 by April 15th and I can start working on...rewriting everything else. Thanks to a friend of mine for showing me OpenOffice, I have a halfways decent writing program so I don't have to bother with Microsoft's dumb bullshit anymore, aside from Windows 8 (which is slowly growing on me. very slowly). My writing schedule will return to a state of normalcy soon wherein I'll be pumping out chapters twice a month at the very least, and one short story. I gotta catch up to Sage one of these days...that man writes like he's possessed or something....Off that tangent, thanks for the continuing support of the page! every view helps build it that much more!

Peace, adieu everyone. Keep your heads up.
