Just a quick update at everyone before I get to work on the blog for today: Old Habits has been updated. If you didn't get a notification of this, well, that's because I seem to have discovered a way to "break" the update notification system. Whoops. I "published" each chapter before I submitted the story so I could grab an e-pub download for editing purposes, only to now discover that it keeps those first "published" dates. Which makes sense to keep updates from appearing every time someone edits something, but in this case means that Old Habits won't appear on the "recent updates" list, and probably most other places.
So yeah, just so you all know, the new chapter IS there, despite what FimFic says.
EDIT: I've come up with a decent workaround that should prevent this from occurring next week (I basically backed-up, then deleted, then restored, each of the later chapters). So hopefully, next Monday we don't have a repeat of this odd event.
Aha. For me, 'breaking' the chapters usually involves accidentally publishing the chapter with nothing in it, then I take it down until I fix it. : | Anywho! Reading!
