Difficulties

Okay, let's get the big news out of the way. I am alive. I am active.

I have also finished adjusting to a new apartment after being 'removed' from my old place of residence just before Christmas...by family. I did not have a Merry Christmas, I worked Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, a double-shift Day. I got my new apartment just before the new year and have been spending the last two months settling in both at the new place of residence and into a new lack of a proper schedule at work, one that has been unfortunately very chaotic and has thus greatly hindered my efforts to work on my stories.

Just last week I finally got fed up and changed my availability to give me one solid consistent day a week off to do various things like laundry and generally unwind. Pharmacy work is stressful when you have people screaming at you about how you screwed up their medication by filling exactly what the doctor wrote rather than what the doctor meant, which is of course what the patient wants rather than what the doctor thinks they should have...anyways.

Long story short, I will TRY to get at least one chapter out a month starting NEXT month. Depending on how things go, I may even have a chapter out sometime THIS month. Problem is, when I lost my place, I also had power shut off while in the middle of writing and ended up losing a decent portion of a chapter along with the name I had picked for Shining Jade's weapon and I cannot remember it no matter how hard I try. The closest word I have managed to find is kusakariki which is Japanese for weed cutter or lawnmower, but I am currently open to suggestions. This one seems fitting for various reasons; chief among them is that I find it both fitting and humorous for a superhero to name their weapon, loosely, weed whacker.
