I would like to first say that if you're reading this, then thank you. When My Little Human: Equestrian Girl, (I'll refer to it as MLH,) first hit the featured box, I was overjoyed. I danced and bounced around the room in such glee that Pinkie Pie would have joined in without even having a clue what I was so happy about.
Of course, when I then read the comments and realized my personal joy had broke implied cannon in the first chapter, amongst other things, I was slightly dismayed, but still happy that people cared enough to take the time to criticize.
But, of course, that was far from the only mistake I made. Exhibit A: In the initial release of Chapter Three, Cadence went completely OOC into a crazed lunatic before I decided that it needed to be changed. In Chapter Four, when Cadence orders Twilight to leave, it was construed as unusually cruel, and when I look back on it, it is. In fact, at one point, I put into a comment on MLH that I would be rewriting the fic.
I took time to think about it, and I've firmly decided I'm not rewriting the fic, nor am I going to change it.
Yes, I know that it's flawed. Yes, I know that Cadence is an unbelievable character. Yes, I know that human Twilight is unlikable.
But I'm new at writing, and no amount of rewriting is going to change MLH from a story with those flaws to a nearly perfect story. I'm simply not good enough to do so. At best, I'll have "fixed" the problems only to make new ones.
So I'm going to keep writing with the knowledge that the more I write, the better I will become. Perhaps someday, I will get good enough to rewrite MLH into a clearly better fic. Until then, I hope that you stick around and enjoy the ride.

Boooooooo I demand a rewrite I cant stand a mean cadence then not apologizing about her behavior
The only way to fix things from here is to move forward, don't ret-con, make things work with the way you started. Characters can reconcile if need be, the point of dynamic characters is to change over time, human-Twi might be unlikable now, but that just means she has room to grow.
1888133 I agree on leaving Human twilight the way she is but I still think there should be a re-write on Candace I didn't like her being too mean.
actually I like your stand on this - it's already done, and changing the little bit might fix one thing but break more.
instead Cadance could later realize how she behaved and try to make it right. or just for the heck of it, pretend it never happened and be good anyway

1888981 Im just saying that im still mad at Jgame for not Toning down cadences behavior in chapter 4 and I hope someday that when this Fic is complete Jgame could try to rewrite chapter 4 a little to make Human twilight leave the castle in another way but im not holding my breath.
I also agree that Cadence should just apologize in a future episode, maybe the event was a sore spot for her or such an attitude from someone that looks eerily close to someone she loves would act in such a way .

I'm really glad your not changing it for the most part there is no such thing as ooc cadence being a complete twat is the right path she nearly lost the love of her life (and her own) had what should of being her best day ever turned into a living hell. P.T.S. is part of why she so mist trusting of this twi and for the most part each and every story is its own world. now if the story teller is trying to stay with in the lines of what is known of each ponies mind set and drops the ball then ya you can call ooc. (but theses are my thoughts we each think what we want im just happy to be there for the RIDE!

I have a story going that was so horribly plug-ugly in its first incarnation that I pulled it entirely, salvaged the two or three good scenes, and rewrote the rest. It's now almost acceptable.

Keep doing what you're doing dude. So we got some seriously OOC characters on our hands. If you ask me, it's still an interesting read.
I know I said it there but ill say it again it think the only way to make amends for not rewriting chapter 4 it is to have cadence apologize to human twilight in the next chapter like this
cadence : twilight can I talk to your Counterpart for a minute
princess Twilight : sure
Human Twilight : what is it Im leaving so you wont have to deal with me anymore
cadence: Look Im sorry for treating you harshly before I was stressed with the extra work I had to do with my husband being ill and I Took it out on you please try to give he other you and her friends a chance.
