Because I have had a few PMs asking about this, the bat pony referred to as Midnight and the white Pegasus referred to as Cloud are indeed Midnight Blossom and Cloud Skipper from Equestria Prevails.
Who is awesome and you should really check out his artwork. Like now.
I liked the characters so much, (and the rest of his art now that I think about it) I decided to give them a plot relevant cameo. I'd be lying if I said there wasn't quite alot of influence in the world building of Bad Mondays inspired by his work, namely the pony blade hooves for example, its not entirely the same of course because I like to stick as close to the canon of the show as possible, hence why I generally stay away from the mane 6 until it becomes impossible, which it slowly is.
Just saying, Rosetta is best Faust Alicorn.
