Another idea... *facepalm* · 6:33pm Feb 23rd, 2014
So if you see this, you may also know I already have two adventure stories going at once. And if you've seen my previous blog posts then you probably also know that I have one more story planned in the main Midnight Star series. In addition to all that though I have two other ideas that I've been kicking around. One is completely separate from the rest of my stories and is an idea I've had for a while. I may or may not do that one.
Just this past week however I had another idea. This one would take place in the Midnight Star universe but would be set a couple hundred years later and include a lot of sci-fi elements. And while Midnight Star would still be around, she would not be an important character in this story and in fact may not even appear in it. Don't want to say much more about it because it may spoil one or two things that will happen in the third story of the Midnight Star series.
Problem is, I would have to finish The Frozen Empire and write all of Midnight Star and the Father of Light, before I could even get to this new idea. Not to mention After Midnight... Luckily there's only a few chapters left on The Frozen Empire. What I really need to do is go on a writing binge and finish it like I did with the first one. I posted it all at once so nobody really knows this, but the first Midnight Star was written, start to finish, in the space of two weeks; summary and everything. And that was even with my computer corrupting the first summary so I had to rewrite it from memory.
Maybe I'll try to do that. In any case; I should be posting a new chapter for The Frozen Empire by the end of the week. The battle of the badlands pass is about to begin.
Edit: New plan; I am going to go ahead and finish up the rest of The Frozen Empire before posting chapters. So it will be a little longer before I start posting chapters again, but once I do, the rest of the story will be released at a constant rate. The original outline has 7 more chapters and an epilogue total, but two of those chapters may be combined into one depending on how long they end up. Sorry for the delay; in the mean time I will continue posting After Midnight chapter by chapter.
