A Brief Update On Mother of Invention · 6:37am Feb 13th, 2014
So, to start off, I'm terribly sorry. 
I suck, I know. You all want new chapters and I'm just sitting here like a big doofus releasing nothing. I feel awful about it, I really do.
If nothing else, I can explain the situation.
So the next chapter is totally written. It's a long one too, by far the longest chapter so far (Actually the longest single chapter I've ever written for anything.) There's only one problem, it's raw, unedited. None of you want to see my raw, unedited words. They're gross.
In the past, I've always had an editor, but I've gone through two editors in a relatively short period of time. Don't blame them, though. Editing is a completely rewardless job, a donation of time and effort for literally nothing other than a quick mention in an author's note that nobody reads. It's totally selfless, and it should never ever be expected of anyone. I have absolutely nothing but thanks for the both of them. We're all still friends and whatnot.
So yeah, they left, but absolutely no hard feelings on them. This is my story, and it's my responsibility.
Of course, for you guys, this is somewhat bad news. This means that, for now, I'm back to self-editing. I can self-edit, but it's gonna take me a while. Especially with such a long chapter.
So bear with me for a little while. Progress may have slowed down, but it's nowhere near stopping. I'm taking this train all the way to its inevitable, fiery death of a conclusion, and nobody's tearing my screaming flailing body out of the pilot's seat until I'm well-done, damnit!
...I think that metaphor got a little out of control.
tl;dr
If anyone feels like editing some shizz, and has maybe a little bit of experience with that sorta deal, feel free to shoot me a PM. Otherwise, no biggie. I can handle myself when the going gets tough. Expect updates eventually, in either case.
EDIT: Welp, I am amazed and overjoyed at the response this got. I barely expected one person to offer their services, let alone several! 
I'm full up for now, so no one else need apply. Thank you thank you thank you, though!
