The Royal Canterlot Library Interview · 8:09pm Jan 31st, 2014
The interview for Diary of a Pliant Tyrant's induction to The Royal Canterlot Library can be read here, if you wanna read about my thoughts on stuff.
It's like my blog, only, you know, somewhat professionally done. I'll apologize for the millions of typos that probably lurk within those words. I really did my best to weed them out, but anyone who prereads for me knows what horrors might be on that page...
Always enjoyable to read these to get a glimpse into other authors's minds. I'm looking even more forward to BABScon now! By the way, if I may ask, what IS your free-time filled job?
It's interesting what you said about roll playing. I have a story I'll tell after I nap.
Thank you for an enjoyable story! Definitely worthy of our feature.
1779540 Thanks so much! I'm really proud of that story, so it a great feeling to have it recognized!
Next to be inducted: Cheerilee's Thousand! The classic tale of hard luck that illuminates the struggles we all face?
...
Okay... maybe not.
1779508 I'm a data specialist. My job is to sit around and wait for people to need information. Then I pull it from various databases and format it into coherent, user-friendly reports.
There are times when I'm so busy that I can't see straight, and other times that I'm looking at the ceiling for days on end. Those days I try and do a few hours of writing.
1779742 Right, so the BABScon story. I'm on BABScon staff, and my role playing in the off-topic staff skype group as Super Trampoline the Bat Pony rather than Bryan Chandler the human was so extensive that a few days ago they started to question whether I was in fact disassociating from traumatic experiences here on earth and pretending I was a pony. It's ironic, because I first moved to Earth (thanks to a portal made by Twilight Sparkle as part of an appology for kidnapping me during one of her obsessive psychotic states) with a long term Visa was to escape some of the drama going on in my family life back in ponyville.

We try to avoid author repeats, but (takes off RCL hat) I am happy to say that I am personally a fan of Cheerilee1k and I've slung a few personal recs at it.

Are you involved with writing track / events at all? (Or should I go through proper channels for the thing I mentioned in the other thread.)
1779969 at this point in time I mostly just suggest stuff and ask members of the Fimfiction community if they want to come. Go ahead and submit an official panel application: https://scontent-b-lax.xx.fbcdn.net/hphotos-ash3/t1/564054_454394081258219_234445578_n.jpg I can definitely put in good word for you guys, as I know you both to be far more renowned/experienenced/good writers than myself. And we REALLY want to make the Writing Panels and events even better than those at Everfree Northwest!
1779969 I appreciate your support. Cheerilee does not.
But, yeah. I don't really have the same expectations for that story. It's my messing around story. I'm not really achieving great things with it, beyond entertaining a bunch of people.
I really appreciate you spreading the word, though. It really encouraging to see people responding to it the way that they have.

> is the EFNW writing track second

… But seriously, man, it's cool. Pony needs more good cons, and good cons need more good fanfic events. A little friendly rivalry/cooperation will get us performing both at higher levels!
