So, I watched yesterday's episode. It was fun, with all the references, humorous situations, and Discord being Discord. Also, nice to see Cadance and Twilight bonding.
But there was one thing that really caught me (and presumably a lot of other people) off guard.
On the one hand, I'm happy, because it means that the FlashLight ship may have a chance to sail after all.
On the other hand, it means that we've come one step close to destroying my headcanon that Scootaloo and Flash Sentry are siblings.
Oh well, I'll enjoy it while i still can.

I don't see why Flash Sentry's cameo would come into conflict with your headcannon. From what I infer from his continued presence in the Crystal Empire is that he may be acting as a liason officer between Canterlot's Royal Guard and the recently refounded Crystal Guard.

There is no direct evidence that they're not siblings, which is good enough for me.
