Delays, Finishing part 2 and starting part 3. · 5:34am Jan 18th, 2014
So I got a little behind on writing these last couple weeks. But I haven't stopped, in fact I'm working on the next chapter even now and it is nearly finished.
I however thought I'd go ahead and explain a little bit about the delay.
As I said in my last blog, I have two other projects that I'm working on simultaneously while finishing Midnight Star: The Frozen Empire. First of course is the side story/prequel After Midnight which I've almost finished the summary for as well as the prologue. Once I finish chapter 1 as well as the cover art, I intend to begin posting that story as well. That alone however would not have caused a delay.
The other project, Midnight Star and the Father of Light; the third and final story planned in the Midnight Star Series is probably the main reason for the delay. While working on the summary, I have delved deeply into the backstory both of the princesses as well as the origins of Chrysalis and her changelings; a background that nopony even suspects. That even Chrysalis's changelings don't even know about.
Anyway, some of this background required me to rewrite a little of the next chapter of The Frozen Empire so it would not contradict, which is probably the biggest part of the delay. So that's the story.
The next chapter will be up in the next few days and it is the last chapter in part 2 of The Frozen Empire. Then we'll finally be to part 3. The war is about to begin.
But in the meantime let me introduce one of the characters that will be introduced in the upcoming story; After Midnight.
