After one of their training sessions, Soarin finds out Spitfire has a thing for him. One thing leads to another, and they become closer friends than Soarin would've ever imagined.

    How to grow your dragon

Here's how you grow a dragon in MLP:

    Step 1.
Take the baby dragon out of it's egg and raise for about a decade.

    Step 2.
Aquire the Bloodstone Scepter from the current Lord of dragons (kill only if absolutely necessary).

    Step 3.

    Sick sucks

Got hit by something yesterday, now it's a full blown cold. My whole face feels like it's burning from the inside.

I'm gonna curl up with some chicken soup now.

    So, season 6 then.

I know I don't usually write, well, anything on this site, so here's me trying to change that. Who knows, maybe I can actually do blog posts.

So, the new season 6 trailer broke. I'm sure most have already seen it, but in case you haven't, here it is:

So what do you people think?

All the world is waiting · 10:11pm Jan 13th, 2014

Or rather, all 52 people (dafuq, when did I get so popular?) waiting for me to update my story.

Believe me, (or don't, I'm starting to not believe it myself at this point) this isn't something I do because I think it's funny. I don't like to go on for months, farting out the occassional bland chapter every now and again, but between my current job which I hate, trying to be a d-list brony artist, and having a social life, I don't get to write as much as I'd like. Also, and this is a fact I'm very self-aware of, I am freaking lazy, and it takes me a while to get started. I'd blame bad parenting if I could, but I can't. Also, my computer just got back from a massive reboot, and in the process I lost Micorsoft Word, leaving me with this crappy little abomination called Wordpad which makes me want to tear my own face right off the flesh in pure frustration, because the damn thing doesn't work well with google docs. And boy did I start swearing here.

So yeah, for all of you who might be wondering 'What's taking him so long?', these are a few things. I'm not here to make excuses, just saying how it is right now. Hopefully I'll be able to get my latest chapter proofread by the end of the week, so until then I'm leaving you all with this, in the hopes it'll make you smile.

Have you tried LibreOffice? Free alternative to Microsoft Word or whatever one of those $200-$300 programs are.

No, I'm incredibly paranoid with installing programs, I always worry the laptop might explode in my face. But thanks for the tip, I'll keep it in mind when I tow the thing to my brother over the weekend to make some edits.

..... I have only read 1 chapter out of all of your 4 stories, and I am not following you.... Who are you and why are you in my Feed?! :facehoof:

1715479
I have no idea.

1715484 Man, why does this site have to be soo broken! Stories updating, but it not telling you, and now I get pony blogs in my feed, from people I am not even following! :facehoof: Why Knight, why is it so broken!

1715454 i know how u feel life can take up most of not all of your time.:ajbemused:

That paranoid? I use many free programs on my laptop. Can't really think of any programs I have installed that are pay for.

If you're worried about it messing things up, go with the portable version. Comes with all the bits and pieces it needs, and lives in its own folder instead of putting files who knows where. Doesn't even change any settings on you. If you don't like it, delete the folder it lives in. It can even live on a USB stick, so you can use it wherever (that's what it was originally made for). No muss, no fuss.

Question: If I want to copy text from Libreoffice, does it retain its original form, or will the text become clupmed together without spacing? Cause that's my main gripe with Wordpad.

1718377
It should do (almost) exactly the same thing Word does. I assume you're talking about pasting into the FiMfic editor? For formatted text, I usually uploaded my LibreOffice files to Google Docs, then used FiMfic's import tool, but if Word worked that way, this should work too.

1718394
No, actually I was talking about pasting it into Gdocs (I do all my editing there, or rather, my editor does) and from there, paste it to Fimfic for last edits and posting.

1718404
Yeah, they get along just fine, last time I tried that. You can also just upload the .odt file to Gdocs and it'll open it.

1718417
What's an .odt file?

1718424
OpenDocument (text) file. That's the file format LibreOffice and Gdocs like to use, but you can tell LibreOffice to read and write .doc or .docx (Word) files if you prefer.

1718438
I just need to be able to copy and paste without hassle, I'm not really up to date on anything regarding computers.:ajsleepy: Also I need the program to be able to tell me when and if I've made a mistake, but I suspect such a funtion comes with LibreOffice?

1718453
Spellcheck type mistakes? Yeah, LibreOffice does that too, the usual red underline thing. The main difference for the average user is that LibreOffice uses the old menu and toolbar style interface, not Word's ribbon-thingy. For basic formatting, it should be pretty straightforward.
