Winning Pony 26 is Off to the Pre-Readers

It took a bit longer than I would have liked (I blame the Steam Christmas sale) but the next chapter has gone out.

Next up in the writing queue, another AU Month entry, where we get to meet Equestria's new ruler, the Phoenix Empress. This'll be my first one-shot spun off of The Lunar Rebellion, so that should make for a fun change.

Wait, is this going to be the conclusion (for now) of Winning Pony? Interesting... I can kinda see that, definitely makes sense to wrap up the story here (for the time being, I have no doubt we'll be seeing more of the Winning Pony in future stories, though for now I certainly wouldn't mind seeing CQ focus after this and AU month on Lunar Rebellion, that story just keeps getting better and better ).

Winning Pony 26 won't be the last chapter; that was the original plan, but several things in previous chapters took a bit more pagespace to write out than anticipated The current (very loose and always subject to change) plan is to put out Winning Pony 27, and then an epilogue.

So (presumably) 2 chapters and an epilogue? OK, I can live with that. Sad to see it coming to an end, but hey, this'll give me a chance to read up some of your other stories in the Winningverse that I haven't already (along with some of Ponibius and Comma Kazie's work, so long as the latter doesn't insist on getting me depressed. Between DeadDerpyVerse stories and his painstakingly anguishing one-shot about the Changeling that abducted Nimbus, I swear CK's sole intent in life is to depress his readers. ). Best of luck finishing Life and Times up CQ! Can't wait to see what's next for the Winning Pony after, well, the Life and Times of a Winning Pony.
