So I know I said I'd kick it into high gear when I made the last blog post. Those that have been following me/DBLS have probably figured out the truth.
My update track record is s*** right now. Once again, working has decided to grind to a halt, and I have figured out why. And no, it isn't because I can't get in contact with my prereader. Doesn't include him at all. I realize: I've been looking on my previous chapters too much and trying to figure out how to fix them. And here's where I came up with a (not-so) brilliant idea.
It has finally come to meld chapters together/rewrite terrible portions.
Of course such an idea is, quite frankly, dangerous to the health of others as well as oneself. So I ask you: good idea? Bad idea? Who-the-hell-cares-just-get-the-next-f***ing-chapter-out idea?
I like the idea of more chapters personally. Honestly, until this showed up on my feed, I thought it was dead. But yes, the terrible portions could use a bit of knife.
More chapters, less blending. But make sure the readers know what's going on. But please do revise what you've written already.
And I echo 1691070. I believed that this fic was dead. Glad to see that it isn't. I've been out of the Chessverse for a while.

To both of you, and to others who believed the fic to be dead, I do apologize. While I did work on it since last blog post, I have yet to complete the next chapter. (Ironically, I have chapters AFTER that one complete...) So don't carve that gravestone...just yet, anyway.
