Hello all, and happy holidays! Late as that greeting is, I still enjoy offering a warm greeting to people. But I'm not updating just to say hi.
As any of my regular followers might have noticed (Any of the 40 of you as the count now stands... witch is really awesome!) I haven't updated anything for a couple weeks now. Woops? My bad guys. The plan never changed, but between the holidays and my family... I kinda lost track of time and dint' get a whole lot done... Not to say I haven't been working. Merlos and I have been getting a good deal done in the newest addition to my page: 'The Mane Two: Contrail'. It's coming along pretty well if I do say so myself. Even if I'm being stopped at all times of the day by certain people I will only spare due to blood relation... *Ahem* And, of course, Merlos has a lot on his plate with all of the rest of the Madverse. (Plus, it IS my responsibility now... making him do it all is pretty fudged up, don't you think?)

It's almost done though so that's awesome! Have a little bit of one of the scenes!
Applejack interrupted the long winded stallion before he could keep on going. “Now listen here, pal, things are right messed up all across Equestria right now, and I’m fully aware that Rainbow and I are priority one to be protected since we can’t do nothin’ ‘Element of Harmony-like’ without the other girls, but we gotta stay in the loop.”
She poked the guard in the chest, her eyes narrowing. “Understand?”
The unicorn stared back with a thin look of his own, likely not used to having his authority challenged, then slumped over some. “Yes, clear like crystal, but if you would only listen to reason on this matter, I’m sure we could convince you both to go back to our rooms. The princesses are both quite busy right now with several national emergencies, I’ll have you know. You simply shouldn’t disturb them incessantly any more than you have to-”
Applejack raised a hoof and tilted her head back, cutting off the namby pamby looking unicorn with a scowl. “Now wait just a tick, pardner. You just said ‘both’ princesses. Are you telling me that Princess Celestia is back right this instant?”
The unicorn’s indignant look traded for a shocked widening of his eyes. His mouth worked silently for a few seconds before he managed to speak again. “I- Of course not, I merely meant to say-”
Rainbow Dash interrupted him next, swooping low. “Yeah, yeah, that’s a load of hay. Tell it to the hoof, chump.” Already flying backwards, much to the dismay of her own two guards, she was already heading down the hall. “Come on, AJ!” she called over her shoulder.
Guards... Am I right? Funny little tidbit, I found a hilarious little... error in this excerpt. It's fixed in the Doc, but I'm leaving it in here so everyone can share a good laugh. (Hint: I think the guard was trying to get lucky.)
To those of you getting this post because your only putting up with me because of the story itself, I'm sorry to you guys that this has been so long coming. I'm not gonna lie, I'm hoping that if I do a good enough job a few of you might give some of my own work a try. I wont sit here ad try to convince you I'm any better a writer than Merlos, but I gotta be doing something right if I'm here now.
That's about all I got! Expect the new chapter to be done in a day or two. I'll be getting back to work on my normal schedule once this update is finally out
so that's exciting. I hope you all had a wonderful holiday season so far, and I wish you all a fantastic New Year!

Unintentionally salacious errors aside, I do enjoy getting previews of upcoming chapters, especially after such a long wait for "Contrails".

No worries. It's a bit from The Stanley Parable, a fantastic game that I don't dare spoil for you. You get that particular nugget in the broom closet ending, where you stand in a broom closet. It's my favourite.
1688511 OOOOOHHHHHHHH! I know that game, never got to play it myself but I was familiar with it even back when it was nothing more than a half life mod! What I have seen of it cracked me up. Anyway, thanks again!
