Updates Tomorrow, Yay! · 12:40pm Dec 30th, 2013
Just to let you know that C&C will have a new chapter released tomorrow (Once again, Aus time so it's 9:30pm here) and it will be at least three-thousand words.
Nigel M Chalmers, Emperor will be next and I hope to update all three on Wed (public holiday so no work for me.)
Sorry about the slip in update times but i've been busy with work (Getting my own office to advise a govenment IT manager, pretty good for a guy just out of highschool.)
A couple of fic ideas i'm tossing up, although I want to finish one of the current ones first:
1. ACB fic starring Nigel M Chalmers, Boris Putin, Orthadox (the four-foot tall yellow lizard alien who works for the ISA, tries to act like a black rapper from the 80's and is extreamly violent, doubley so whenever anyone comments about his height or the fact that he looks like a wingless dragon) as well as two other human SPECTOR OC's, if you got ideas i'll be keen to know.
2. Fic where Nigel gets an advanced armour suit powered by four anti-matter reactors and loaded with a boat-load of toys. It's a prototype and he's warned to not do anything drastic so he goes to an officers' party on a luxery yacht where he drinks a little too much and ends up falling into the sea, armour and all. When he wakes up he's in early Equestria (after the three tribes unite but there's war brewing between factions) in the middle of the ocean.
He spots a wooden boat above him and boards it. It turns out to be a pirate boat crewed by mostly earth ponies with a smattering of zebras, diamond dogs and griffons. The captain insults him, Nigel kills him in a gory way and takes over the ship, declaring himself LORD OF THE SEA!
His ship, the crew fearful of him at first but they warm up to him later on targets military transport vessels and slaver boats, and we all know hoe the UIP reacts to slavers and rapists...
Oh, and expect Nigel to yell out random and sensless Pirate sayings and puns while wearing a pirate hat.
3. Fallout Equestria fic where Nigel is in the same advanced suit which he uses to take over a large area, dicking around raiders, slavers, pegasi enclave and the legeon of steel while carving out a mini-empire. Halfway through the UIP main forces arrive, Nigel assuming command and using them to conquer the planet for the glory of the UIP. Will be heavy on the gore and comedy. (Un-like my other fics, wait...)
4.Fic where Nigel is turned into a foal and plopped into a small farming town, resulting in much adventures (planning to have him burn down some buildings after he constructs a primitive flamethrower out of scrap metal from farming tools and a ignition liqued from a mixture of daisy wine and paint.
5. Lastly, the one which I most likely will not do (Mainly because i hate self-inserts) is a fic where a changeling is throw into my shed through a window after failed canterlot invaision and when i first see it I beat it with a rake (MLP does not exist in this universe so i don't know what it is.) Fic will focus around culture shock and the amnosity that is between us (beatings don't make people many friends) but we both soon learn that it will not end well. The changeling will slowly wither away without food and it's wounds will not heal until we start acting civil.
(Don't know what gender to make it, don't intend to include shipping if it's female and certinatly not if male (My headcannon states that they have normal genders) but considering the feedback i've recived on the other fics about my romance scenes (whice scares me, i'm a bastard and i possess no empathy or affection at all, execpt for changelings).
anyway as i said these are all ideas that will not come to pass until one current fic is finished but i enjoy writing down the ideas.

All really awesome ideas! Like Polymon said be careful that you don't bite more than you can chew. The foal story interests me because I want to see the ponies shock of a highly inventive, vulgar, dangerous foal XD The other stories sounded pretty cool. I mean who could hate a pirate Nigel? Well, from what I've seen of your current three stories it sounds like the Lord of the Sea and FO:E ones would be great for you. They could easily take the Nigel from SoD or Emperor and he wouldn't really be out of place.
If the ISA is the same as described before, the ACB would likely be over very quickly, unless he discovered the Equestrians have no control over the barrier. Then he'll try to save the planet without hurting the ponies I'm guessing. Although I'm not sure how the infamous Nigel would go about that.
Personally I would like to see the Nigel-turned-foal one the most. I'd really like to see what happens in that scenario. It's relevant to my interests and is somewhat different than your current stuff.
As for the last one, well self-inserts aren't inherently bad. The problem is that many use it for self indulging wish fulfillment, and that makes a poor story for anyone not wanting the same exact thing. If you take the time to do it right it could be an interesting story about personal growth and friendship while showing the difference between two cultures (even if one is fictional). This kind of story might work best if it makes people think, but it could also be interesting if it's more conventional, like trying to get the changeling back home through strange methods. As for shipping, it might be best if it doesn't reach full blown romance levels, but you have to consider the changeling's perspective as high romance would mean more food, right? So if staying in character (depending how you portray them) they may actually try something like seducing you (even if they're male). Could be good for drama, but it's ultimately up to you how all that goes down.
So yeah, they all have potential, it's just a matter of how you pull them off. I do hope you write some of these when you finish your current works.
The Fo:E and foal ones are of high priority to me, also the pirate fic.
