Monarch Chapter Two: Portents and Promises · 8:16am Dec 27th, 2013
It only took me two months (almost three) to get enough time to write, edit, have preread, and will myself to press the submit button, but the next chapter of Monarch has been posted for your enjoyment. I apologize profusely for my absense, both in updating this work and from the site in general. It's getting to the point in my academic life where things matter again, so I'm working pretty much around the clock.
You can expect to see another chapter before January is finished. Until then, stay safe and have a wonderful New Year!
Life is writing's most terrible mistress.

Amen to that. Once my final quarter is done I'll have more time, but until then it's a battle between this and everything else.
1652536 Trust me, you won't have more time at first. You'll just have a degree and a splendid time trying to get and keep a job. It isn't really until you've held a job for about two years that your load starts to lessen by much.

Yeah, I'm worried about that more than anything. I started this project in May when school got out. I was working at camp all summer and it took me until October just to get the first chapter written, edited, published, edited for EqD, and featured. 4 months of nothing but working and this.
