    Monarch: Where We Stand

After many a long week, I have finally been able to come back to writing more than the little I've been doing. It pains me to make promises that I cannot keep, so I apologize if my silence has been met with animosity. Let it be known I don't plan to abandon any project of mine any time soon. I have been finishing up my final quarter as an undergrad, and my schedule has been exceptionally tight to

Monarch Chapter Two: Portents and Promises

It only took me two months (almost three) to get enough time to write, edit, have preread, and will myself to press the submit button, but the next chapter of Monarch has been posted for your enjoyment. I apologize profusely for my absense, both in updating this work and from the site in general. It's getting to the point in my academic life where things matter again, so I'm working pretty much

    New Story

Hello everyone, sorry I've been afk for a while.

I am proud to announce that, after a few months of editing, writing, planning, consulting, and rewriting: I have just recently sent in a new story for approval. If you get this before it's approved, enjoy. If not, enjoy it anyway.

Monarch: Where We Stand · 2:56am Mar 11th, 2014

After many a long week, I have finally been able to come back to writing more than the little I've been doing. It pains me to make promises that I cannot keep, so I apologize if my silence has been met with animosity. Let it be known I don't plan to abandon any project of mine any time soon. I have been finishing up my final quarter as an undergrad, and my schedule has been exceptionally tight to say the least. Therefore, in the spaces between projects, I thought I would reaffirm myself to the completion of this story and highlight where we stand at this moment in time.

I was forced to part with my friend and assistant RainbowDri, as he is bound for more ambitious adventures in the world of filmmaking. He was indispensable for not only this project, but Your Little Butterfly as well. Today is also his birthday, so I hope he sees this and knows I wish him only the best.

To fill the hole he left behind, I have employed the aid of two friends of mine: Erik and Tom, who, besides being authors themselves, have both the time and proximity to me to serve as editors and general thought bouncer-offers. I have received nothing but the utmost zeal and excitement to see this project to its conclusion as I could have hoped for. I'm excited to see what comes.

On that note, I am resolved to finish this story despite the many complications which have arisen. I am ashamed to note that it is nearing a year since this story first came swirling together from nothingness, and only three chapters (tentatively) have been released. I am still resolved to be as consistent as possible in these chapters' release, but there are no guarantees. I can guarantee, however, that every chapter you read will be one which is not thrown together, patched haphazardly, or cobbled from disjointed thoughts or wild suppositions. It is my sole goal to ensure that every chapter is one worth reading, and I will not release anything unless I feel it is worth being included. What you've given with time, I hope to return in quality, and though I am still learning this art I hope that what you've read has been enriching. There will be more to come. Until then, I thank you for your patience and wish you all the best.

-Until Next Time,
