But hopefully it's enjoyable brain-vomit, as I put in some (some) effort to arrange it into something worth reading. I also hope I didn't end up giving too much sympathy for the devil, as I tried to avoid that here.
The story kind of evolved as I wrote it; I had the vaguest idea of someone breaking into the factory at the beginning, but the specifics about Spikeshoe Pinstripe came about right when he actually walked on the scene. I normally don't like this kind of seat-of-the-pants writing, to be honest, but in this case, I would say no real narrative harm was done, so it's excusable.
My interpretation of the Mane-Iac is thus like a combination of the Joker and Rahs-al-goul, to put this in Batman terms. And I suppose Spikeshoe's plot could be a possible origin story for one of the Power Ponies themselves - or another villain.
An actual review of the episode will come tomorrow or Wednesday, I think. Anyway, enjoy!
