Fight Or Flight? (SPOILERS, Also some boring announcement stuff) · 8:40pm Dec 18th, 2013
So, I'll start by admitting that I wasn't really looking forward to this episode. I didn't really not want to see it, either; I was just indifferent to the premise.
But that being said, I think it's my current favorite in Season Four.
Miss Harshwhinny's facial expressions, Scootaloo not being homeless, (TAKE THAT) Rainbow Dash continuing to not be her Season Two self, the Professionalism subplot, the way the moral was handled, the ending, all of it! ASDFGHJKL
I will say that the song was rather lackluster, and that I was disappointed we didn't see Scootaloo's family, but still. This was a wonderful episode, and from another new writer. Is Scootaloo the training grounds for new writers or something? Either way, both her episodes have been just fantastic; it's hard to believe that I used to think she was a waste of time. I'm sorry, great Scootaloo, please forgive my sins.
But no seriously I loved this, and that's all there is to say on the matter.
Up next: Another episode I'm not really looking forward to, but that I hope will impress me. If nothing else, the presence of our first Earth Pony villain is something to cheer for! Yay for equal-opportunity evil!
In other news, this week is the last one before Christmas break. I'm going to have a pretty packed schedule over the holidays, visiting family and all, but I hope that I'll be able to find at least some time to write. The Atlantis Scenario is long overdue for an update.
Obviously Scootaloo doesn't have a family. She's homeless and squatting in a run-down house.
