Update Concerning Spread: Chapter 16 (And Other News) · 1:46am Dec 11th, 2013
Hello, followers, readers of Spread, and other people who might happen upon this blog.
Haven't had a chance to test the new story tagging system, so I'm giving it a shot here. If one of you who faved Spread but isn't following me could let me know if you got this post, that'd be great!*
Okay, now to business. First of all, I know I'm a bit overdue on a Spread chapter. Granted, it's not the unexpected three-week hiatus I took between chapters 14 and 15, but I was aiming on a new chapter every week and a few days, and that time has come up. Usually I am more productive when I announce that I haven't been productive, because then I feel compelled to follow up on my promises. But with finals coming up for me, I can't guarantee a new chapter until I go back home from college on Friday. If you see an update before then, then you know I got lucky and found some free time. If not, then you know I'll have free time soon.
As far as the story goes as a whole, I'm getting to the point where I want to wrap it up within another 4-5 chapters max. We still need to deal with the inevitable release of Rarity's "film" and the repercussions therein. There will also be relationship developments and a happy ending for all the main characters. So, look forward to that.
In other news, I have a few other projects in the works. One is an entry for a Sparity contest taking place right now. If you're interested, the link to the contest is here. The initial draft is done; I'm just waiting for my editor to take the time to look over everything and help me out with the technical aspects of the piece.
The other one is a Rainbow Dash story which will be replacing Spread as my major work. I won't give too much away here, as I want the main premise of the story to be a surprise, but I will mention that the Wonderbolts play a big role. And if that sounds horribly cliche, don't worry; the idea is certainly not.
