Regarding KHC and Polarity · 4:10pm Dec 10th, 2013
Yeah, it's unusual for an interquel to be finished before the prequel or the sequel (Polarity and AAG, respectively), but there have been some reasons for that. First, KHC was meant to be a Christmas special - as you'll see, I kinda let it get out of hand.
Secondly, the rest of Polarity gets dark. Real dark. Dark as in I'm not sure I wanted to finish it, dark. Dark as in I know it will affect some folks dark. Ultimately, there's a light side to it all, but what happens in the next few months in Derpy's life as well as her budding romance with Silver...well, you kinda get why things are the way they are.
But Polarity will be finished, I promise.
Now, to keep working on the next part of AAG (which has Silver in it - yeah, he's getting a lot of screen time right now), and maybe to start working on the next part of Polarity.
Well, enjoy the next couple of weeks of Rarity's fun, folks!
Aww, poor Derpy... She gets so much crap she doesn't deserve. Oh well. At least we know at one point she gets to be happy again. Yep, right before she dies defending someone else's child.
Anyways, will definitely read KHC later. Busy setting up the Christmas tree now.
So do you have all of KHC written and you're going to post chapters from now until Christmas, or what's the plan? I'm just curious.
1594029 Working on the last two chapters now, which should be done in a couple of days (I'd have finished up yesterday, but it's been snowing like crazy here, so half my time has been shoveling it all away.)
And yes, there will be a chapter a day.
