My problem is I'm just so paranoid about perfection. Short oneshots I can write pretty fast, but my planned-out, long-chapter fic takes like a month per chapter (I got stuck for a week making sure one line was just right for a character on this chapter I'm working on right now...) If I were to crap out such a long chapter quickly, I know it wouldn't be good. I just wish I could crap out long chapters quickly and of quality...
And I play a lot of videogames and watch a lot of TV... And actually go outside from time to time (LE GASP.)

I hear ya, I am out of work atm, so other than taking care of the house and the lawn... I write... It actually takes me about two to three weeks to write a chapter of a long fic. That's why I recently started shooting out one-shots, so little trouble, and I get to rid myself of all these scenes in my head!

92359 I have always liked the whole space thing. I would like to see a story like that. I don't really think there are any pony-space stories. And wow. EqD likes you. They don't seem to like me much for some reason. They turned down both of my fics just because theyu didn't like the topic. Zombies for one. Niko Bellic for another one.

It's a review group, they do the same thing to your fic as EQD does, they REVIEW it! But it doesn't take two weeks! Also some will even hop in and edt it. All you need to do is post a link to the story in G-Docs (with comments on_ on their site (http://saltblock.blogspot.ca/) And they'll make a post for it!

92382 No, they didn't turn it down because my writing was bad. They turned it down becasue they didnt like the genre. For Undead Equestria thier resonse was "Sorry! Not open for zombie stuff right now."
And for wrong hospital it was. "Your throwaway meta humor is frowned upon on the blog."

92386 I'm thinking about it. I mean, for what I've seen on Eqd, my fic is definately worthy. Definately no clop or high ammounts of gore. Nothing worse than what you get from FO:E I still don't know why it didn't make it. Simply turned down becasue. "Sorry, we don't like this topic despite the writing ability behind it. kthnxbye!" Just a bit of a put-out.
