Three things!

I went to my first Brony rave (and first dance in years, really) last Friday night. Club Luna Put on for the meetup group SoCal Bronies, it was a smashing success, and I had a lot of fun. Apparently I dance like a madman once I get over my shyness. I had the honor of having PikaPetey sketch my OC Super trampoline for free (plus tip)! I also won 2 of the 5 auction items. That's 40%! I won an excellent signed CD and print from Taps, and I won a Bronies Documentary, signed by John de Lancie, Meghan, and Lauren Faust herself!
And of course, the season 4 premier kicked major ass. I don't really have anymore to say that hasn't already been said. The pacing was a little wonky, and the potion a little out of the blue, but overall, incredible. The flashbacks, holy fuck the flashbacks. The transformation and battle scenes were amazing! So fluid and epic! My favorite shot is when Twilight is looking up at Nightmare moon and the camera pans down and toward her. Just brilliant.
So yeah, that's about it. Stay Brony my friends!

I wasn't aware of this con before you mention it, but I will definitely make sure to do arrangements to attend. This is going to be the first con that I will be able to attend since I had to stop my plans of going to Sacramento; because they changed the day of the con from Friday to Saturday.
