Complications abound · 5:51pm Apr 29th, 2012
Due to some health crises in the family, I haven't been able to focus on my studies these past few months and as such will be working on my portfolio over the summer.
This means I have less free time than I was hoping for. I'm sure you'll be frustrated to realise that this comes with the added complication of having less free time, thus less time for writing.
Right now, my nerves are high, and I'm wondering if I'll even be able to pass my final year. I'm just going to have to give it my best shot, really.
Still, I find Composure relaxing, and have been working on it. I'll continue to plug away at it, and hopefully we'll see the next chapter in a week or two.

Take your time. People that follow Composure are usually very composed about stuff like that.
Your private matters should always come first and I think most people will understand that. I rather look forward to a good next chapter instead of some rushed/forced abomination.

Hang in there man. Your life might be set to hard mode right now, but I think they let you adjust the difficulty when you switch to disc 2.

Oh man, I was just thinking of this story last night, trying to remember which one had Twilight performing that awesome illusion spell that really kind of showed her feelings. And then this shows up. While I'm sad that I won't get a chapter for a while, I'm glad to see it still is happening. I'll be here for this no matter how long it takes. This is a wonderful story easily worth the wait.

Take your time man. As a reader, it is nice to hear Composure is your way of relaxing because that means progress for us. But more so as a fellow human/brony, do whatever you need to do since it sounds like shit has recently hit the fan. Not to sound super dickish but true fans will can, and most likely will, understand and support you through whatever is going on.
I just want to let you know, your story was what got me into fim fanfics. I read Fo:E first, but that's a thing on it's own. I found Fo:E on Equestria Daily, and from that I found a link to Composure on fimfiction. That was almost two and a half months and 4,000,000 words ago, and I still eagerly await your story.
That said, I'm sure it will be worth the wait, no rush! Especially under those circumstances. My uncle passed recently, as I'm trying to finish my master's this semester. Your story helped lead me to a world for escaping, and thanks for that.

Yes, focus upon RL first. Those are all important things to concern yourself with.
I have re-read what you've written of Composure several times. it's a wonderful piece, and quite honestly makes me happy. The point it is at now is actually a wonderful spot... it COULD end there and not feel abandoned. I'm very glad to hear that you're still working on it, however. :) Take your time... quality over quantity is best in writing, I think!
Joining the "take your time, life > fanfiction" crowd. That said, I'd be lying if I said I wasn't glad that you're finding writing to be relaxing, and therefor haven't stopped writing entirely.
