The Prince of the Night: Anniversary, Hiatus, and Other Things. · 6:05pm Nov 24th, 2013
(Okay, now that we can tag these posts to stories, let's try this again.)
I just realized: I've been working on The Prince of the Night for a whole year!
Thursday (November 21st) was, in fact, the first anniversary of the day when I posted the first three chapters here on FimFiction. If I had posted my most recent chapter on that day, I could have made it a celebration of sorts. Alas, it was not meant to be.
But anyway, happy anniversary, PotN! (On which note, does anyone have any idea when Luna/Lucian has her/his actual birthday?)
Also, you may have noticed that PotN is on Hiatus. I'd like to apologize for this. I know you all want to see a lot more Twiluna (Twilucian?), and I know that the most recent chapter was a doozy. And I know that some of you now believe that this makes me the villain of the story (Because who else could be evil enough to put the story on hiatus right as it's starting to get good?!). But I need to take a break from it for several reasons.
First of all, I want to re-write the first few chapters, because my proofreader has informed me (And I have to agree) that they have plenty of flaws which need to be corrected (And honestly I think a few plot points need to be revisited). Also, I want another shot at Equestria Daily (I want to do something impossible before the fandom dies! lol jk)
In addition, I have a few story ideas which I've been playing with for a while, but I haven't quite had the time to act on (partly because of PotN, and partly because of College), so I want to give them some limelight.
Anyway, I hope you all had a great day. Again, I apologize for the hiatus and for taking so long with these chapters. I really wish I could write a lot faster, but I'm only human. In any case, I hope you all keep reading my stuff, and I promise you that there's plenty of new stuff coming soon.
P.S.: If anybrony has any idea as to how to use the title "On the Physical and Psychological Effects of Genderflipping on a Lunar Alicorn", I'm all ears.
