s4: 1&2 thoughts. (SPOILERS) · 10:59pm Nov 23rd, 2013
so i just watched it... cause i was too lazy to catch the tv one at ten in the freaking morning... and here are my thoughts:
Lots of freaking TwiJack. Srsly? It was the Twijack show and $100 says that group will be even more popular now.
The Pie was good-- was funny and silly and everything. I saw some cute TwiPie too--I approve. No RainbowPie, though. At ALL. Like, not even a word or a touch or anything, but I guess beggars can't be choosers. I... I wanted it so bad... but it never happened...
Rarity sounds odd. Did you guys notice that? Or was that just me? She sounds different. She'll probably be fine next episode.
Twilight drinks white stuff.
The feature box will explode with tentacle porn in 3... 2... 1...
Luna's presence was... off. Maybe cause I'm not crazy about her, but she just always seemed to be present but not really that... present.
Dat Royal Guard voice actor--shut it down.
The conflict of 'no twilight, YOU CAN'T SIT WITH US' was resorted way too fast. (P.s. please tell me you guys know what movie I'm referencing here...)
Discord was a gem. Just... really really well done and true to character.
Dash's presence was a bit muted too--again, the TwiJack show.
It's really really d'awww worthy whenever they reference the first episode and say '....brought us all together'. Like... I'm a fucking puddle right now.
The Twilestia was good--very sweet and very well handled.
Annndddd thats about it.

(several others that i don't feel like listing here. The entire episode had spot-on dialogue. Very nice.)
