This might be too soon, but I've never been one for waiting. · 10:39pm Nov 3rd, 2013
Long story short: I'm looking for a new editor. This position may be temporary or more or less permanent, depending on willingness and performance.
And in case you were wondering, Bronius has performed admirably to date. My searching for an editor has nothing to do with poor performance on his part. It has everything to do with him going off to basic training. At this moment, he's probably in a hotel room, dreading his first day on base tomorrow. Or working his way through the free movies offered by the hotel. Or both. Anyway, that's beside the point. He's not here, and won't be for a couple months. And in the meantime, I need someone to fill in for him.
Perks of the job: see my hoerswords in their uncut, unedited glory, well before they are released to the public. You may criticize and pick apart my works to your heart's content, exchange witticisms in the comments, and, should the need arise, provide a target for me to bounce ideas off. The lucky one chosen will have the great honour... no, the privelage, to be exposed to the inner machinations of my creative drive.
Oh, and I'll probably also expect you to yell at me to get my stuff done quicker. That would probably be to all of our benefits.
Those of you who are interested can contact me via PM, and will be subjected to a rigorous (not really) background check and performance evaluation (you'll have the option to look over a recent chapter of my current project and submit your thoughts). Should you prove yourself worthy, you will receive the position and all the benefits that goes with it (health insurance, hazard pay and all other benefits are waived). In the case of multiple promising applicants, it will be settled by a duel to the death with a weapon of my choice (probably a bat'leth).
I'm actually at the hotel bar, enjoying happy hour. Arguably my last in a while. Drinks tonight, sweat tomorrow. Good luck fan!
