Has it really been one year already? · 9:48pm Nov 2nd, 2013
On the 5th, I'll have been around for a whole year... damn, that's certainly something I never expected to happen.
I remember that after reading a lot of fanfiction I thought to myself: "I could probably do that too..." though I never thought my stories would find the resonance they did. Now, a year later... I actually have 600 followers? Dayum. When did this happen? Now all I need is a fan club or fan fics on my fan fics :D... Though I may want to get myself a proofreader/editor first ^^
I want to thank all of you for your continuous support, it means the world to me to see you enjoy my little stories. I'll do my best to keep on writing, though I still find myself unable to write anything longer than 2k words in one sitting... maybe I'll be able to change that one day.
Anyway, all of my thanks go to out to you, I love every single one of you.
Hope to see you around,
Gnoll.
PS: I'm thinking about doing a question and answer blog too, so if you have questions you want answered, do write them here ;)
Oh... and watch this, I think everyone should see this ^^
Calvin & Hobbes
Oh Faust, he wants questions... okay, here we go!!
What is your name?
What is your quest?
What is your favourite colour/ What is the airspeed velocity of an unladen swallow? (One or both of these can be answered.)
What is the answer to the ultimate question of life, the universe and everything else?
If olive oil comes from olives, and sunflower oil comes from sunflowers, where does baby oil come from?
Isn't it scary that the word 'therapist' contains 'the' 'rapist'?
Have you ever imagined a world without hypothetical situations?
How many licks does it take to get to the centre of a tootsie pop?
How much wood would a woodchuck chuck if a woodchuck could chuck wood?
Do you mmm like mmmm bananas?
Is this the best princess?

And does she have the best plot?

I think that just about covers it.
Ok, here's min:
Why you stretch yourself over so many stories? Why won't you focus on three or four stories, like sequels to The Watcher, The Reader and Souls Apart, for instance, and leave new ones in draft form for later?
"Remember, remember the fifth of November,
Gunpowder, treason, and plot,
I know of no reason why gunpowder, treason,
Should ever be forgot"
~Guy Fawkes
(Just watched V for Vendetta)
Oh god, that last gif made my night.
Anyways, good questions. Hmm... guess a good one to ask is why you followed me, since I think you're really kewl and all that. Also, what other stories and genres do you have planned for the future? Along with drawing, since I'm a big fan of your art as well.
Also... how do you update so often?
How are you so awesome?

forty-two... though there are unproven theories stating that it could also be read as twenty-four...
Babies, of course. They are ripened in Lego barrels for seven weeks before the extraction. The taste will then depend on the color and block size of the barrels. Attempts at producing the same results with matchbox cars have yet to yield satisfying results.
The fact that it's in there actually makes me smirk... I'm a devious little fellow.
I tried... but all I got was a maybe.
I'd say seven, no... maybe over nine thousand if I'm going to eat the stick too... That owl was full of crap but at least Vegeta got it right.
A woodchuck would chuck all the wood he could if a woodchuck could... I'm confused now.
I don't want to go to the moon... Plus, I like trains.
Luna is best princess. Agreed. Not sure about the plot thing... but all evidence points towards it.
First set of questions answered.
1475614 I don't know, really. I always tell myself to finish my other stuff first, but when an idea pops up in my head I can never wait to put it out there. What stories I write on mainly depends on my mood... and I've been on a rollercoaster lately. I do try to give every one of my stories an update in turn, but sometimes inspiration simply fails to strike me... so instead, I just write what comes to mind.
Having so many stories to write on is stressful... I'll admit I sometimes don't even know where to pick up next but it gives me opportunity to implement my ideas where they fit best. The thing is, I already have most of these stories completely in my head, I know where I want the plot to go... but sometimes I feel like starting something new just to see how the idea strikes with the community or get something out of my mind to get my head clear. It's a little chaotic at times, but it keeps me going.
1475622 Oh god, I didn't even notice that until you pointed it out
1475720 I like your stories, they're delightfully different from what most other authors do... and I like different things. If I remember correctly, you were among one of the authors I followed for some time before I actually wrote something myself.
As for the future, I first want to get some of my stories finished before putting up something new (at least I hope I'll finish a few ^^). I have a few things I wanted to try out; I wanted to try myself at clop... just to see if I can pull it of. Also, I have been thinking of making a graphic novel... though I'm not sure how that will turn out. There's also a dark story which has been hanging in my drafts for quite a while now, maybe I'll return to that later.
I got myself a new drawpad, so maybe you'll all be seeing more art from me soon, though it does take a lot more time than writing. The other problem is that I never quite know what to draw... just like my stories, my drawing is always a touch and go thing.
How do I update so often? I guess I'm a daydreamer. Whenever I have a spare moment of time, or when I'm listening to music... there's always some little story playing inside my head. I take those inspirations and turn them into a story.
Little side note; I wrote diary of a store clerk because I felt sorry for robbing all those stores in gta 5 online and I wondered what kind of life a store clerk would like to have.
1476003 I have your awesome comments, those help a lot ;)
Heh, everyone is celebrating their second year on this site, while I'm sitting here and waiting for the next two months for my third year.
I feel old.
Happy anniversary to my favorite Gnoll!
I think you are one of the best authors here on Fimfiction - your stories are among the most creative ones, both in premise and plot!
