So weary · 8:59pm Oct 18th, 2020

There are days I simply feel so weary and tired. Where every movement requires strenuous effort, trying to get any productive task started is an impossible challenge, and even my hobbies no longer promise entertainment (or at least relief).

I realize I'm spiraling downwards, deeper into depression, but I cannot find anything to stop (not to mention reverse) the process.

2281481 Always welcome!

It will be a struggle. Most of life usually is. It's how we deal with what remains, to see how long of a struggle. It's going to be a while, it's not something that can just flick on then off. Prepare yourself by one day at a time. Do not stop doing what you do, find things to do. There will be smiles again, laughter, and all the good things life has in store. Take them when they come and don't turn them away. As for catastrophes..sometimes there's nothing you can do  But don't stop living, never do that. :pinkiehappy: And as for therapy, good. Take that step and don't ever be ashamed.

Be well, and be safe,

No, thank YOU for writing it in the first place.

And also thank you for the kind words and the sympathy. My friends have been a great help, though I'm still struggling with my emotions and thoughts. I'm getting therapy for my depressions, though I still need to wait for a time slot to open up. I just hope there won't be another catastrophe in the meantime ...

Thank you so much for the favorite, it's appreciated so much!

As for the blog post, the same thing happened to me, almost exactly. No cliche's, no platitudes. It does hurt, it will hurt. But know that there are people out there who will listen, to talk. I'm sure you do have wonderful friends. Lean on them, tell them you're hurting and don't bottle it up.

Trust me, it helps. A lot.

My best regards,
NFire

Thanks for the fave on The Twilight Enigma!
