Holy Celestia's sweet sunny cheeks guys! I never imagined I'd get this kind of response! I mean, I hoped for it, but hitting #2 on FimF before it even get's EqD-ed? Luna's socks, that's insane. Well, I hope it's worth it. No pressure right? I am glad the whole thing is done and just waiting for proofing. If I still had the rest of the story to write, I might be getting just a little bit nervous.
I was planning to save this until the author's notes at the end (and will put it there too), but I really owe these people a lot.
I really want to thank the following people for being beta-readers and helping me out during this. First up, Cloudy Skies. If you read shipping you should know the name. He really helped me out: planning the original outline, giving me feedback when I was uncertain about things, and general cheerleading to assure me this wasn't the worst thing ever written. It's safe to say, without his reassurance, this wouldn't have been written. So thanks! Also, go read Where Your Heart Is.
Next up is Present Perfect. He totally agreed to read and comment on this back when I was thinking 15k, even though he has his own TwiDash thing. He didn't get around to it until 35k+. He really helped hammer on some of the weirder stuff I had. Also he put up with my inability to master commas. Thanks PP. Seriously, he edited so much.
Couch Crusader also helped with proofing. He has some of the most amazingly competent writing in the fandom. Wingmares is everything I've ever wanted from a Flutershy and Rainbow Dash backstory. His current WiP, Via Equestria promises to be epic adventure.
Drakmire also gave me some good tips and edits. he's another master proofer/reviewer.
Whiteout, #mlp-training-grounds' resident baker and general Pinkie Pie pupil. Go read his stuff. The PinkieDash fic is part of my headcanon now.
Fox E and Tchernobog both read the work in progress and gave feedback and encouragement and suggestions. And thanks to everyone who listened to me bitch and moan about this for the last three months!
