Well. isn't this dandy!
I'm still very much alive, and the story is still being worked on.
You may have noticed the new Cover Art, unfortunatly I couldn't find one with a shotgun so this'll have to do.
Also...
All those comments about what Dominic said? Yeah, those really don't help me much. I mean yeah they tell me you dislike what I did but it also makes it hard to write for you guys. I get it, you don't like it. But it only makes things harder, I promise you I will elaborate on his views in later chapters. Just going to have to bear through it until I do though. You and I both know that rushing things makes for a bad story.
Anyway, that's my little update for you!
Oh, gee, you don't like us not liking the fact your character is a misanthropic bastard. That says worse things about your character and you than it does about us.

Look at this from where I am. I can't have him start to realise how wrong he is immediately, that would make it seem rushed. He's going to dislike humanity for a while.this is true, but if everyone leaves because they don't like that it makes writing more pointless . I don't want to be writing for a non existant audience, that just wastes time. He doesn't hate humanity altogether, he simply sees it as a race full of jerks. That view will change over time.
As for getting angry at me...

His not liking humanity was a bad idea from the start. People LOVE ponies, dude. Everyone HATES zombies! You probably should have just had him say stuff like "I'd prefer not to talk about my life back home" or to talk about how he USED to live before the zombie apocalypse came, the things he used to love to do with his family and friends before it occurred. Have little snippets into his past life leading up to when the zombie outbreak happened, that sort of thing.

Well, hindsight is 20 20 isn't it. Still, Celestia was forcing him to be honest in order to regain his belongings. Thank you though, for helping me see how that could have been handled better. I've just seen so many fics where the human knows about the ponies but hides it and it comes out at the worst possible time, I was trying to forgo as much of that as possible in later chapters.
