Hey, just wanted to say that I'm still working on this story and there is an update in the works, real life has just kinda gotten in the way of things and I've been finding less time to work on my creative pursuits than I would like. There's also a number of rewrites I've been doing to my other project, the true sequel to Pawn that Would Be Queen.

I've been thinking about this for a while, and I've decided after much deliberation that it's time to put this story on the back burner for the time being. I will continue to work on it, but not at any rate that I can promise any updates soon. That said, I have other irons in the fire that will hopefully help kickstart the creative juices once again. Thanks for being understanding.

As it says on the tin, I need help. I moved from New Jersey back to Colorado after a year and a half of living on the east coast. I haven't been here a week yet, already I'm in trouble. I'm very sorry I haven't posted any new chapters lately, there has been some personal matters I've needed to attend to, and it has been hard to find the time or the motivation lately...
