Okay, update time! Subject to anything else turning up, I will do this tomorrow (Sunday) evening. And yes, it will be under the same conditions: 45 minutes, starting from scratch. (Not Vinyl.) Will it be worth it? Probably not, but we'll see!
(If it works out under 1,000 words, I'm not sure what I'll do. Possibly write a second chapter that continues the story, or something like that.)
