A Chapter This Way Comes · 1:30am Sep 7th, 2013
The chapter is currently under review by Frazzled Pony's talented eye. It's coming in another two parts, but both will be released at the same time. That, of course, means that I had to break Chapter 12 up into a total of three parts. All of which was meant to be done in a single chapter. Apparently when I wrote my outline for this chapter it was in a bout of insanity and stewing in understandings that currently lie far, far outside my own ability. Both part 2 and 3 are completed however, and between the two of them it's an additional 30,000 words to the fic. I've been tearing my hair out trying to make it go over well. Since the airshow is a skit and a poem mix, I was working on poem rhythms while writing an entirely new story without names in addition to writing for my original story, while at the same time introducing and throwing away several new characters who all need to be introduced and thrown away!
In the middle of this, the guy in the apartment above me broke his toilet pipes and flooded out my place, so guess who had to move? This guy! I had a week's notice to vacate my old apartment and move to one upstairs. in that week I had the long weekend alone to actually do the moving. Boxes? Packing? I ain't got time for that!
Anything that wasn't furniture or in a drawer got tossed in a laundry hamper and hauled upstairs. Throughout the long weekend Hamper Man worked for three days straight for a total of 30 some odd hours, carrying that hamper of clutter up and down stairs. Courageous though he was, may I never have need of him again! If ever do though, I'm getting a cape first, and a disguise. The disguise will mostly entail a bag over my head to hide from the humiliation.
In better news I'm hoping the new fic pic will be out by the time the last chapter is updated. It's very likely, the artist is on the shading part now. Spike is looking spiffy! and Scoot's board is lookin' sweet.
The Last of Us kind of took over any free time I had though. Last night that finally came to a close as I watched the credits scroll. It has destroyed me emotionally. I'm not sure what to think, but I'd have probably done what Marlene did or the surgeons were to do. Even if human history would entitle my action as one of a villain, I would know that the reason humankind could remember my decision at all would be because what I decided. I do, however, hope they'd consider me a villain over a hero for making that choice , though.
Anyone else out there play any good games recently?
Also, one last chapter to go. It's kind of hard to believe.

It's actually 34k+, but I like to round down. This chapter on it's own with all the parts together is over 50,000. One chapter.... Apparently I took writing outlines at 'Crazy-Go-Nuts' University. Which would explain why when Frazzled pony makes a review it's several pages worth of edits.
