Okay so on Tumblr the other day, I found this post that linked me to this really useful generator website that not only randomly generates fantasy and science fiction names for dungeons, planets, towns, cities, and people names, but also can generate world maps as well!
It's called donjon, and is incredibly helpful if you're in need for a quick name! I might start using this for Equestrian Earth when I need dungeon names.
Anyway after tinkering around with the generator, I came up with this image.
So yeah. Not so bad. As for where I've chosen to place Equestria, I've chosen ri-i-i-i-i-ght there!
It looks a little brownish, but I absolutely no control over where the deserts are placed. Just pretend that entire area is green! ^_^
EDITED: Okay so I obviously don't know my geography maps, and people are telling me those brownish areas are actually elevation levels. So thus, they are mountains. I could actually see Equestria having mountains there, especially Canterlot Mountain. So we'll just leave it there.
So yeah. Pretty big world. You got the ice cap up there, as well as that is where the Crystal Empire shall be. Right above Equestria. Magistrum (from my OC story, Blowing Through the Pages) will be that smaller land mass to the left of Equestria. The tiny island that connects the two continents at the bottom will be... hmm... the Badlands! (Pretend it's crag brown.)
The land mass to the right of Equestria, across that little ocean strip, shall be the land of the griffins/gryphons. (should I capitalize specie names? I got so used to not capitalizing them because humans is normally lower case.)
So yeah. If you need a convenient map of Equestria to reference from, look no further.

It even gives you names to use for Legendary Weapons! ^o^

~ Luminous Storm, a mythical morningstar which once belonged to the illustrious hero Beorhtio, who perished in the Jarmahsh Desert.
~ Astral Destiny, a mythical greatsword said to lead the one who wields it to wealth and glory.
~ Profane Executioner, a masterwork shortbow which once belonged to the human paladin Joane, who defeated Malpha the Demonic.
~ Hellish Glory, a legendary hammer which once belonged to the great ranger Gimli, who perished in the Shrouded Jungle.
So many good weapon names.
Luna kicks so much ass, that it breaks the scale!
