Ermagerd guys. Just, ermagerd. I just noticed that 'lil view count indicator thingamawotsit on The Equestria Games has now surpassed the 800 view mark.
Additionally, I have gained 27 followers, and the story itself has 78 favourites. I'll be dang honest here, you guys have been surprising me since the very first chapter upload. I mean, you guys seriously like this story that much? Huh, I guess I'm doing something right for a change.
Anyway, this is a part celebration, part "interesting" fact blog.
The word count for Teh Equstra Gaems is (at the time of this blog) a whopping 79, 566 awkwardly strewn together words. I honestly expected for the story to be well over by this point, but no. It goes on! And there's still many a chapter on the way for me to punch you in the face with, so keep an eye out for those. You won't miss them. Honest.
However, here's the "interesting" bit. I may be stretching the definition of that word here, but whatever.
Here is the rough word count for each book in the original Hunger Games Trilogy:
The Hunger Games: 76, 800
Catching Fire: 80, 000
Mockingjay: 100, 269
Do you see that, my sexy minions? My word count is already higher than Book 1, approaching Book 2. Honestly, I think given how far the story has to go from here, there is a good chance I'll be exceeding Book 3 too. Take that, Suzanne Collins. You n00b.
