Short Stories · 11:21am Jul 8th, 2013
Hey guys, I'm writing this to link to two stories I've done recently.
No pony content, they're for competitions.
This is my first attempt at a horror story, and I'm rather proud of it.

Oh dear god I sincerely hope not.
I sincerely hope you read that story now just so you can realize how horrified your comment made me.

Okay, yeah. Now having read it, the above comment no longer seems a silly little facetious bit, but rather very callous.
I will be deleting it now.
Very, very sorry.
As an aside, what happened to the guy who beat the ever loving shit out of you?

Got off scott free.
No, no, don't delete the comment, I honestly laughed when I got over the initial shock, honest! Don't sweat that, mate, but can you imagine me thinking about Pinkie Pie in that position? Boggles my mind, laughing at the absurdity of it, and the weird thing is... It would have been strangely in character for her to act like I did too...
Holy fuck, I'm Pinkie Pie?!

Tanj.
I have been almost certain you are actually Pinkie Pie after the "Sweet Meet and Greet".
It was too perfect to be anything other than a retelling of a memory.
But yeah, imagining Pinkie in a situation like that... Any of them really.
This is probably a bit of a long time after the blog post to say this, but I liked Rules of Survival. It's proof that you can write horror as well as you can humour. I've never seen fear of the dark handled quite this way (i.e. with the transition), which I really like. The way the story is written gives just enough for you to know what to be afraid of, while still leaving it vague enough for your mind to make it worse.
About the autobiographical piece... Writing it in first person (even if the obvious choice) was a good call. It's easy to feel really there. I'm also sorry you had to suffer that, but if it made you who you are, perhaps it's not such a bad thing...
