How does one know when one has arrived? For some, just the fact that one other person enjoys their work is enough. For others, it's getting paid the big bucks for it. For me, I'm somewhere in between. See, I didn't think my stories were all that great until I got my first bit of fanwork. PrincessColumbia has made a Pandora station featuring music inspired by my TSW series. It may not seem like much to you, but for me, it will always be special. This is the first fan-made thing that I have ever been given. While I think I'm still far from arriving, this is a step in the right direction, because in all the years I have been putting things on the web for the enjoyment of others (since 2004), this is the first time someone made something for me. Thank you, PrincessColumbia. 
But really, please check out this awesome station. It has tons of fantastic music (though there are some in there that I've never heard of, but that's okay), and gives a little peek into the inspiration for most of the chapter titles (which themselves are summations for the overall theme of the chapter).
This also ties into my story recommendation for the post. After getting that station, I looked into PrincessColumbia's user page and found the story, Ponification Nation. It's pretty good, though you'll have to forgive the premise. See, it's apparently full of OCs and a Mary Sue Self Insert, though it seems to be aware of what a taboo they are. They haven't done anything too egregious other than becoming alicorns, but then again, the story is only 2800+ words, so take that with a grain of salt. Now, I'm not recommending this story as repayment for the gift, it's purely a recommendation on its own merit, so make of that what you will. 
Art wasn't enough. A simple piece of music wasn't enough. You got an entire freaking station on Pandora dedicated to you.

Well, I wouldn't say I was super duper popular. 515 followers out of how many registered users on the site? Hardly super duper. Sort of middle popular maybe. Don't get me wrong though. I do appreciate every single one of my followers, even those who haven't commented on any of my stories since TSW; but I'm hardly Device Heretic or Varanus. Oh, and thanks.
