Petra Arc 2.0: HHH Edition · 4:33am Mar 30th, 2012
Oh shoot. I should probably update this. Uhm.
I started working on the rewrite to that huge arc that I started in January but ultimately decided was crap. So, in other words, I'm writing again. It's a slow process, but I'm about 4 chapters into the re-write.

I was seriously starting to worry that The End of Ponies was going to become an abandoned story. Good to know that's not the case. I will continue to avoid the ponychan thread, because I'd rather see the next update in all of it's huge block of texty glory. Just know that at least one person is looking forward to the next arc.
I really think that when this is done it may well be the best My Little Pony fanfiction.

I too have been trying to avoid your ponychan thread in favor of waiting for the full arc. Kudos to you for willing to put the time and effort in to re-write something that large because it wasn't up to your standards. Know that you have many fans for the quality and epic nature of your story.
But uhh... I hope this isn't spoiler territory.... but "petra arc"? Isn't this going to be like... "Rarity Arc" or something? What the heck does petra have to do with anything?

Forgive me for speaking for the author here, but the Petra arc is sortof a prequel to the Dash arc. If you're avoiding the thread so you can go in fresh, then that's all you need to know.
Even though I already read the whole initial version of the Petra Arc, I shall read it again. Simply because I can.
This is, without a doubt, the best pony story to have ever been written.

49582 Not by a long shot. It's up there, but still not he longest by far. Even Fallout Equertria ended with a final word count around 608,000, and Project Horizons has already exceeded the original FoE in length and is nowhere near done.
Not to say this is short. It's just not the longest.O
