The Equestrian Critics Society + Update · 11:49pm Jun 2nd, 2013
Well, it has officially been way too long since I was active on working on any of my stories. There's been a lot of distractions lately; graduating college, looking for a new job and dealing with generic life drama being the real-life issues sucking up my time and energy. I've also been neglecting writing time so that I can reread the Game of Thrones series and catch up on some of my followed fics that have been languishing (I'm finally down from 110 to 51 unread chapters.) I've also been starting to game again, between League of Legends, Bioshock and Minecraft.
But the real drain on my time is my work with The Equestrian Critics Society. For those who don't know, TECS is a small group that reviews and critiques author-submitted stories. As much as I love reading and then thinking and talking about what I read, its enjoyable work for me. Plus it helps me practice objectively analyzing stories for strengths and weaknesses, which will hopefully improve my own writing (though I wouldn't bank on it).
That takes a lot of time, however. Still, I've been forcing myself to make room to work on my own writing projects, too, and chapter 4 of Harmony Redux is finally shaping up after way too much elapsed time spent on me being lazy. So, that's coming soon. Hopefully someone will be looking forward to it.

I know the feeling. I've got the routine of completing stories 100% before posting them, and as time progresses and I get more devoted to my proofreading and reviews of other stories, as well as editing, I find it harder and harder to actually POST my own stories that I want to post. I enjoy proofreading and reviewing, though, and especially being an editor.
If you're busy with other things, we can certainly wait, but I'm eagerly hoping for the completion of Harmony Redux, because once completed, I'd like to read it in full.

But hey, I'd imagine that local co-op's pretty sweet, too, depending on how local it is, of course (LAN party vs. being in the same city, state/province, building, etc.). I'd imagine the connection rate would be damn good, assuming you all have good-quality connections and computers!
