I never understood the attraction. I also don't think Netflix should really be calling it a "Netflix Original" when all they did was pick up another network's show.

They do that for the same reason Comedy Central calls Futurama their own original series, it gets more viewers...

I don't quite get that Netflix remark, but it's understandable as I live under such a big rock, that it effectively blocks all the news from over the pond.

Looking at the screenshot you made, however, I can say one thing.

I never understood why people would use both a battery icon as well as a percentage. Even if it's unlikely that the space will ever be needed by something else, it's just cluttering it up, and one doesn't provide more/additional information over the other.

I'm not aware of a way to turn off the battery icon, and I like having a more accurate idea of my battery life remaining.
